How To Have A Healthy Aquarium.

Avoid crowding fish

Quarantine new fish for 4 weeks

Mix only compatible species

bullet

 Feed a variety of fresh, quality food

bullet

Maintain the preferred water parameters for your fish

bullet

Use a quality filter that is the right size for the tank; clean it regularly

bullet

Maintain regular water changes while vacuuming bottom debris - be meticulous

bullet

Make sure all replaced water matches that of the water removed in temperature, pH, salinity, and be toxin-free

bullet

Watch daily for any signs of stress or disease and act immediately

bullet

Remove dead fish and snails immediately

Approximate growth rates of the Guppy.

Please keep in mind that this will vary according to care (especially feeding), and genetics. However, I have included this for general reference. Please note that females may grow much larger than the males.
